HOSE RETURNS TO SINGLE-SEATERS IN HISTORIC FF1600

Neil Hose, once a young lion in Formula Vauxhall junior, will return to single-seaters this season to contest the Historic Formula Ford 1600 Championship in a Merlyn MK20A.

The Glasgow based driver has competed more recently in Mini Coopers at his home track of Knockhill but is having a change of scene for 2024.

He said: “I’m thrilled to be back in a single-seater. I’ll be running under my own team for the season which will be a steep learning curve as we get to grips with the car and refamililiarise myself with all the UK tracks.”

Hose will make his historic debut at Snetterton this weekend in the opening two rounds of the championship.
