Neil Hose makes lightning start to claim the win in Race 1

Neil’s words:

Another roller coaster of a weekend, racing in the Scottish Mini Cooper Championship at Knockhill racing Circuit.

Starting on the front row for Race 1 after missing pole by 100th of a second, we got a great start to take the lights to flag win.

Starting Race 2 from pole, we led for the first half of the race before being rammed off into the gravel at McKintyres. Although we managed to to rejoin the impact took out the ABS making it hard work to hang on to secure 5th, which later became 4th.

Race 3 we started P4. Absolutely gutted to get taken out at Clark’s on the first lap, however lucky to narrowly escape hitting the tyres to rejoin 9th. We fought hard to make up some ground but could only salvage 6th place in the short 9 lap race.

All in all it was great to stand on the top step again and really shows what we’re capable of when the racing is clean.
